Pic collage from my last run on vaca! It was a difficult 4 miles (I usually only run 2) but I survived. I started off on the sidewalk and ran about a mile then decided to try out the beach. I came on a bit before the first picture of the rocks. It was 6 pm and the beach was still extremely crowded. I was dodging little kids and trying to avoid the tide. My feet were also sinking in the sand so it was definitely a rough start. Then I had to climb over the rocks since there was no way to get around to get to the other side of the beach. (Pic 1,2,3) after climbing over the rocks it was still a little crowded but after 1/4 mile it was nearly empty (pic 4) The tide was still being tricky and I was still sinking into the sand so about 2 miles in I decided to turn around. I found an exit (pic 5) that allowed me to get off the beach without climbing the rocks again. Finished off by running towards the house, sweating, really wanting to quit, trying to justify walking, but not giving up. Running is such a mental battle and I’m glad I just ran the 4 miles. Selfie is after walking about 10 minutes to cool off.. I wonder how red my face was during running. 😳😳😳

I finally ran!!!!!! Did only 0.7 miles today but omigosh felt so good! Although I had done leg strength training right before so my legs also felt like jello.
So so happy. I missed running!
